Phrase World ("we", "our", "us") is a mobile app for learning English idioms, operated by Word Nerd Arcade. We take your privacy seriously and keep data collection to a minimum.

What we collect

• Game progress: Stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We don't have access to this data.
• Push notification tokens: If you opt in to push notifications, we store your device token to send you idiom reminders. You can opt out at any time via your device settings.
• Feedback: If you choose to submit feedback via the in-app form, we store your message. No personal information is required.
• Purchase information: In-app purchases are processed by Apple via RevenueCat. We do not store your payment details. We receive confirmation of your entitlement status only.

What we don't collect

• Your real name or email address (we only store the character name you create in the game)
• Precise location data
• Contacts, photos, or any other device data

Third-party services

We use:

• RevenueCat — to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions
• Supabase — to store feedback submissions and push notification tokens
• Expo — for push notification delivery

We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

Data storage

Feedback and push tokens are stored on servers hosted by Supabase (AWS, eu-west region). Data is transmitted over HTTPS.

Children

Phrase World is suitable for all ages. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation.

Your rights

You can request deletion of any data we hold by emailing us. You can also reset the app at any time to clear all local data.

We may update this policy occasionally. Check back here for the latest version.
